Rosa de Graaf (UK) is Associate Curator at Witte de With Center for Contemporary Art in Rotterdam (having previously worked as Curatorial & Publications Intern, and later Assistant Curator). She is also an Editor at Kunstlicht, the Amsterdam-based academic journal of visual art, visual culture, and architecture and writes for Extra Extra. Outside of her work at Witte de With, De Graaf is working as an Independent Curator, currently developing texts and projects on the topic of intuition.

Amongst others, previous roles include: Member of the 2017 International Advisory Board for the Rotterdam Cultural Sector (non-subsidized workgroup); Assistant Curator at the Stedelijk Museum Bureau Amsterdam (SMBA), Amsterdam (2016); Curator at Tate Collectives (Tate Modern & Tate Britain), London (2008-2012, 2015), and Curator & Producer for Art Everywhere, in collaboration with public art collections and institutions across the UK (2013 & 2014).

Starting out with a background in fine art practice at University of the Arts London (UAL), Rosa studied under Griselda Pollock at the University of Leeds, gaining a BA with First Class Honours in Social and Critical Histories of Art. In 2017, she completed her Masters in Arts & Culture (Contemporary Art Theory & World Art Studies) at the University of Leiden, with a thesis titled ‘To be Otherwise; ‘Undoing’ Witte de With.’
