In a sequence of short scenes performed by a diverse troupe of dancers, actors and singers, Relational Stalinism – The Musical combines hyper-rhythmic blinking, exhausting feats of reading, operatic luggage handling, call centre language-torture games, and etc. Portnoy’s alchemical manipulation of language and movement, interspersed with satire of the current state of performance within the visual arts, result in healthy and humorous confusion.

Performers: Thomas Dudkiewicz, Jimmy Guacamole, Margo van de Linde, Keyna Nara, Evelyne Rossie, Loveday Smith and Gerrie de Vries
