Sarnath Banerjee

Sarnath Banerjee tries to understand his surroundings using words and pictures. Every now and then he stumbles upon something of some consequence and publishes it. He originally trained in biochemistry and later studied the theory and practice of image making. He has written three pictorial books, also called graphic novels: Corridor, Barn Owl’s Wondrous Capers, and The Harappa Files. He often hopes that some critic will define his work as “Hogarthian,” but that has not happened yet. He lives in Berlin and Delhi.
