Mia You is the author of the poetry collection I, Too, Dislike It (2016). She is currently working on a new collection, Festival, about her integration process in The Netherlands. She teaches at the Universiteit Utrecht and the Sandberg Institute, after completing a PhD in English at the University of California, Berkeley. She writes essays and book reviews and has published them with De Gids, Artforum, Bookforum, The Critical Flame, The Hairpin, Jacket2, and the Los Angeles Review of Books. She contributed to Extra Extra Magazine n°13 with a short erotic story with the title ‘Unspeakable Hours’.
