Artist and filmmaker Kévin Bray was born in 1989 in France, and is currently based in Amsterdam where he is a resident at the Rijksakademie van beeldende kunsten. His work oscillates between several media – namely video, graphic design, and sound design – through which he questions the existence of the image and its (modes of) production. Bray is interested in visualizing and manipulating the form and language of a particular medium, in order to impose (apply) its rules (codes) to another medium. Bray is also a teacher at the Royal Academy of Art (KABK), The Hague.
