Chris Kraus is the author of four novels, three books of art and cultural criticism, and the literary biography After Kathy Acker. Her first novel, I Love Dick, was adapted for television. Her new essay and story collection, Social Practices, “exposes the visible cracks of social practice and the institutional structures on which they hinge.
