Witte de With Publishers is very pleased to return to the New York Art Book Fair (sharing our stand this year with De Appel Arts Center, Amsterdam) where you will find us in Room R on the 3rd Floor.
New titles at this year’s presentation include: the limited edition print version of The End of Money (Juan Gaitán, ed.) featuring a special image section by Peter Fischli & David Weiss and the latest volume in our signature Source Book series, Source Book 9: Cosima von Bonin. A special presentation of images by Rotterdam and Berlin-based artist Lidwien van de Ven, which are currently being published inside the weekly newspaper De Havenloods, as part of Witte de With’s city-wide exhibition Melanchotopia, offers a point of departure for a discussion on the changing political situation in The Netherlands, which we invite you to engage in throughout the fair.
Also ask us about our new online publications, including Making is Thinking (Zoë Gray, ed.) and our online shop as part of Witte de With’s new website.
Sunday 2 October 2p.m., The Classroom, Gallery U (3rd Floor)
Monika Szewczyk (head of publications at Witte de With) in conversation with Antonia Hirsch (Berlin-based artist, associated editor of Fillip magazine). Presented by Fillip in conjunction with Intangible Economies—a series of essays and events that broadens the notion of economy beyond its financial dimensions and that focuses on the multifarious forms of exchange fueled by affect and desire. Sunday’s conversation will focus on Szewczyk’s contribution to this project “Investing in the Blank.”
