Our upcoming member’s program is an introduction to art and feminism. We could call this a master class, but it’s set-up as a casual rather than academic event, with drinks to keep the mood nice and the conversation free flowing. The program has two speakers:
Coming from the University of Cambridge in London is the art historian Dr. Alyce Mahon; her presentation will focus on the juncture of feminism and surrealism. Joining us from Maastricht is Paula van den Bosch, senior curator at Bonnefantenmuseum; she will introduce us to the work of a strong group of Dutch women artists.
This event takes place in the living room of CitizenM in Rotterdam, and is open to SUPPORTER and COMPANION members of Witte de With. This event will be in English.
