Witte de With Center for Contemporary Art is looking for someone with energy, will, and skills to work closely with our director and programming team on shaping our future.

We are interested in bringing on someone to our team who has a strong commitment to the creation, presentation and experience of contemporary art. Someone who acknowledges art can be manifested as a form of knowledge or a special occasion, which, in its experience, a public can learn through the articulation of emotion, analysis, and debate. We are interested in bringing on someone to our team who is curious and trustworthy, that is a skillful organizer and that is simply adamant on building partnerships.

We would like to engage someone who can work with our team to holistically coordinate our programs, from their research phase to their materialization and their public outcome; someone that can creatively contribute at all stages of this process, with ends of making our program offer more culturally relevant and publicly accessible. We would like to engage someone who is informed on theoretical and/or policy developments in the culture sector; someone that is interested in connecting with educational and cultural institutions; someone that has come to master production timelines or similar organization tools.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, who has proven experience of this and of project management, and who, while recognizing the importance of collaboration, respects the significance of autonomy and solitude. Someone who has expectations for growth, and that can both encourage and manage expectations of others. Someone that sets in motion processes that can be as effective as they are ethical. Someone that is demanding but likewise generous, that finds joy in work as much as in niksen.
