Because Witte de With is able to relay knowledge of contemporary art that is not available through the usual channels of education, it organizes special projects, master classes and workshops for young people on a regular basis. Participants are guided in further developing their knowledge, skills and talents in the field of contemporary fine art and can start creating a professional practice network. Participation by invitation or via registration.
Additionally, in close collaboration with educational institutions, special workshops are developed for students.
Some examples of peer-led and co-creation projects include: It’s a new brand world/The Exciting Museum (2009); JET – it’s not a plane, it’s not a girl’s name, it's a book about art (2008-2009); Speak Out/Where do we go from here? (2007-2008); ArtVIPs master classes for young people (2007); Can small battles change the world? (2006); Is it because I'm black? (2006).
