Jeremy Shaw (b. 1977) was trained in Media arts at Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design (now Emily Carr University) in Vancouver, BC., and currently lives and works in Berlin. His practice integrates music, performance, video, books and sculpture. He has been active in the DJ scene in both Vancouver and in Berlin. His most recent participations include The Wall – Live in Berlin, 1990, a public poster exhibition-project in conjunction with Program, Berlin, EV (2010); Every Letter in the Alphabet, Vancouver (2010), This Transition Will Never End #6, Toronto International Film Festival – Future Projections, Toronto (2009); Gewalt (Violence), Kunstverein Wolfsburg, Wolfsburg (2010); as well as the performance Best Minds, Part Two, The Office Temporary, Berlin (2009) of which he will did Part Three for the Performance Program at Witte de With Let Us Compare Mythologies (2010).
