Ghassan Salhab

Biography Ghassan Salhab (Dakar, 1958)
Ghassan Salhab is a filmmaker and scenario writer. He has made several short films in Beirut and Paris, such as Après la mort (1991), Afrique fantôme (1994) and La rose de personne (2000). In 1998 he made his first feature film Beyrouth fantôme (Bring Back) about the war-ravaged people of Lebanon. Terra incognita (2002) is Salhab’s second feature film that was selected for the Filmfestival in Cannes (2002).
