Biography Walid Sadek (Beirut, Lebanon, 1966)
Walid Sadek is an artist and writer. His most recent exhibitions include: Rumours, Townhouse Gallery of Contemporary Art, Cairo, 2001; I do not Think People Leave Hamra Street, Hamra Street Project, Ashkal Alwan, Beirut, 2000; Adolescence, Ayloul Festival 2000, Beirut, and Karaoke, The Bluecoat Gallery, Liverpool, 1998.
He is the author of several art publications such as Al-Kasal (Indolence; with Bilal Khbeiz; Beirut: The 3rd World, 1999) and That I am Bigger than Picasso (Beirut: Ayloul Festival, 1999).
