Hani Rashed

Biography Hani Rashed (Cairo, Egypt, 1975)
Hani Rashed is an autodidact. While working at Nile TV, he started to draw and met Mohamed Abla with whom he studied for several years. In his drawings he has a satirical approach to human life, stripping humankind down to an insect-like figure, literally as well as metaphorically. Rashed has exhibited several times in Cairo and has had solo exhibitions in the Mashrabia Gallery in Cairo (2001-2003).
