Biography Magali Arriola (Paris, France, 1970)
Magali Arriola (lives and works in Mexico) is a free lance curator and art critic. Arriola organized the exhibition Coartadas/Alibis for the Centre Culturel du Mexique in Paris. Catherine David invited her to make a new version of the exhibition for Witte de With.
As a curator at the Museo de Arte Carrillo Gil in Mexico (1998-2001), she organized a series of exhibitions, including Congo-Bravo: Pablo Vargas Lugo, Inappropriately Drawing, and Art Club 2000. She published articles in several reviews, including Curare, Art Nexus, Parachute and Reforma.
