obs. + system cinema + diagram2005 obs. + system cinema + diagram proposes a performative-cinematic-sculptural-architectonic situation: the visitors pass through a real-time passage-place where the physical body is forced to react to the installation space and its elements: walking over the obstacles, accessing different angles through the closed-circuit cameras, looking at the diagram of the experience. This onslaught on the senses that combines several perceptual layers and performative disposition leads the spectator?s gaze and body through a field that is constitutive for everyday life but usually remains invisible: the structure and functionality of affective relationality. Being obliged to set up a certain behavioral attitude and to form a particular mode of perception, the spectator?s movements are governed by the environmental setting of the work: either you enter, crossing the obstacles, or access to the work is denied. In this respect obs. + system cinema + diagram illuminates how contemporary political power is exerted: as actions that indirectly limit the subject?s range of possible actions.
