René Straub (Stuttgart, Germany, 1947) lives in Stuttgart.
Since 2000, René Straub and Ella Raidel have been working together under the project-name “framerec.” They both concentrate on the superficial changes, rearrangements of space and forms of movement in cities that reflect the visual culture of each society. Everyday scenes are focused as well as the underlying patterns generated by city life.
