Guided tours
By appointment, Witte de With offers guided tours of its exhibitions to higher education students. These tours provide an excellent introduction to contemporary art or an opportunity for more indepth engagement. The guides are hospitable and kind and will adapt to all levels of art experience. They will give ample opportunity for questions and contributions.

Guided tours last about one hour. The fee is € 60.00 per group plus the usual admission price per person. The maximum number of participants in a guided tour is 15, with a maximum of two groups simultaneously.
Art education didactic
Witte de With is actively engaged in supporting art education, especially for primary and secondary teachers’ training colleges and for secondary school art education programs. The center offers them special didactical Art Confrontations. These are longer-term projects that complement educational modules and internships. During a didactical Art Confrontation student teachers are introduced to contemporary art and the Witte de With’s program and philosopy, including the center’s specific approach to education.

At the moment Witte de With has a close annual collaboration with the art education module at the Hogeschool Rotterdam's PABO (Pedagogische Academie Beroepsonderwijs) a teacher's training college for primary education) and with the museum guide module at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam. On a regular basis, Witte de With also contributes to the minor in ‘Kunsteducatie in de Praktijk’ (Art Education in Practice) at the Willem de Kooning Academy.
Master Classes & Workshops
Available to students enrolled in (degree) courses related to arts and culture offered by art academies, architecture colleges and universities. These programs are given by artists, curators and other art professionals. See projects for more information.
Information for higher education teachers
While preparing a visit, teachers are welcome to make an appointment with the education curator for an (informal) talk and a short tour of the exhibition. In collaboration with teachers and educational institutions, Witte de With can also realize taylor-made projects.
For those visiting Rotterdam with larger groups or several classes at once, we help to make arrangements with nearby institutes TENT and Showroom Mama.
