As of 1 September, 2011 Karin Schipper has started as our new education project curator. Witte de With is proud of its innovative and highly successful education program, through which engages a new, young and active audience with the artistic program. We believe we have found someone who will further shape and develop the educational program in an enterprising manner, with commitment and elan.
Karin is very familiar with Witte de With. She worked in 2007/2008 on the educational publishing project JET (Junior Editorial Team) as an intern and freelancer. She was also involved in the project Speak Out (2007/2008). Recently she developed and gave workshops connected to the exhibition of Cosima von Bonin. After a period working as an art teacher, Karin became art educator at Museum Jan Cunen in Oss (2009-2011), where she led the Museum School, among other programs. Karin studied Sculpture at the AKI in Enschede and at the School of Education in Art & Design in Arnhem.
Over the coming period, the education program is focused on the project Melanchotopia. For this, Karin developed and coordinates various programs for different audiences. We invite you to have a look via our website.
